When you’re as fascinated with paper and fine art printing as us, a whole lot of thought goes into choosing the right paper type. All our Smith and Brooks fine art prints are made by our local Master fine art printers who manage the colour of their printing meticulously. They’re printed using Hahnemühle’s Natural Line, Agave Fine Art paper which is 310gsm (pretty thick!). Each comes with an extra white border for ease of handling for your framer.

What we love about this paper are its subtle warmth and gentle texture. Not only that but this paper is made up of 70% agave and 30% cotton. We are all for using materials that make less of an impact on our environment and agave is an excellent resource that requires little water to grow. It’s a perennial so it just keeps on giving AND it grows in arid climates. So we give it a ten out of ten for looking good and feeling good too!

Our entire collection is available to purchase in fine art prints and canvas prints too! Each canvas is hand-stretched and printed on professional canvas using archival inks with a UV protective coating.

They each come ready to hang with an option to purchase a “Nude Canvas Print” which is the canvas supplied ready to hang, stretched onto 28mm stretcher bars with the artwork’s mirror image around the edge. Or you can choose a “Float-framed Canvas Print” which is the same stretched canvas with an additional float frame. Float-framing gives each canvas a beautiful, timeless finish. Depending on the artwork we offer Australian oak timber float frames or a matte black timber option. We love these so much and can’t wait to see how you style yours!
