Hidden off the shore of Seven Mile Beach stands the curious Banksia Marginata. This shrub is also known as Silver Banksia because its fine smooth leaves reveal a delicate shimmering palm when turned over. The contrast of these silvery undersides against the woody foliage above creates a sense of opposition within the bush itself – almost as if two beings seek to inhabit the one form. 

Banksia Moment II stands curiously watching its woodland companion, Banksia Moment I with its many flowered faces. The two Banksias will never meet but they are still connected by existence and share a silent bond.

Banksia Moment II shares its palette with other works from the Virid Dream collection, creating a rich and intriguing indoor forest scape when hung together. The Banksias Moment works are additionally available in bold matte black frames.
