The centrolepis strigosa grows only a few centimetres in size so you will have to look closely to find it. Hidden in grasslands and heath this beautiful native is found radiating out from Melbourne to most corners of Australia. Its tufted form is reminiscent of a bouquet on a miniature scale.

Centrolepis Form II has been created with a bold palette of deep greys, and browns to enhance the native plant’s natural outline. It is cradled with a ribbon of desaturated pink – a colour drawn from its tiny blooms. When hung with its sister piece Centrolepis Form I the works create a sense of balance through their organic repetition.
