Cinerea Muse I features a love story represented by a deep grey-blue line that meanders around the blooms and leaves across the canvas to meet its pair, Cinerea Muse II. In the representation of different love stories – non-linear, non-binary, non-conventional, disrupted, complex or just of its own nature – the love storyline separates at one point and then rejoins itself to become whole again.

Cinerea Muse I is both a singular work and part of a pair. As a singular work, it represents one’s own personal love story. The love story they have with life, the Earth and with their own heart. It is independent, bold and triumphant.

When paired side by side with Cinerea Muse II the works become a tale of two lovers. Lovers that share in their journey and move through the world as one – they are each other’s muse.
